Is SSC CGL Tier 1 marks added to final merit?

No, Tier 1 is qualifying in nature. Final merit is prepared based on marks obtained in Tier 2 Examination only.

Is Typing Test mandatory for all posts?

Yes, Module-II of Section-III (Data Entry Speed Test) is mandatory for all posts. However, it is qualifying in nature.

What is the negative marking in Tier 2?

There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section-I, Section-II and Module-I of Section-III in Paper-I.
